In case you weren't already tempted to tune in for the 2023 CMT Awards because of the star-studded roster of main-stage performers, along with the chance to see your favourite artists win big, CMT has just unveiled an incredible Side Stage line-up that'll surely make this a downright unmissable occasion.

Megan Moroney, the country prodigy behind the hit single, ‘Tennessee Orange’, has been confirmed as a performer on the Ram Trucks Side Stage at the 2023 awards ceremony in Austin, Texas.

We expect Moroney will most likely treat viewers to a live performance of her much-loved football-themed anthem, ‘Tennessee Orange’, which was inspired by the infamous rivalry between the Tennessee Volunteers and Georgia Bulldogs.

However, Moroney also has a wealth of new songs up her sleeve which could be given a live rendition on Sunday, April 2 at the 2023 CMT Awards, such as the recently released ‘Lucky’.

‘Lucky’ is due to appear on Moroney's debut album of the same name, which will be released on May 5, alongside another much-loved single, ‘I'm Not Pretty’.

It could prove to be a busy night for the Georgia singer-songwriter, with Megan Moroney's ‘Tennessee Orange’ having picked up 2023 CMT nominations for Breakthrough Female Video of the Year and CMT Digital-First Performance of the Year.

Joining Megan Moroney on the Ram Trucks Side Stage at the 2023 CMT Awards will be fellow rising stars, Avery Anna, Jackson Dean, Lily Rose, Chapel Hart and Nate Smith.

The latter will be expected to perform his fiery debut No. 1 single, ‘Whiskey On You’, having recently wowed the UK crowd with the live version of the heartbroken track at C2C Festival 2023.
