Kelsea Ballerini has been nominated for two awards at the 2023 CMT Awards.

While it was already announced that the 'Rolling Up The Welcome Mat' superstar will co-present the ceremony alongside fellow nominee Kane Brown, it's now been revealed that both hosts are up for awards also.

Ballerini is up for the highest honour of the night - Video of the Year - for her song 'HEARTFIRST', the lead single from her 2022 album SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Kelsea is also nominated for Female Video of the Year for the same song, which finds Ballerini exploring the excitement around the first sparks of a blossoming romance, forgoing whatever hurdles and potential hurt that may bring up in the process.

It tops off quite the past month for Ballerini. On Valentine's Day this year, Kelsea released Rolling Up The Welcome Mat, a new EP that documents her break-up and divorce with fellow country singer, Morgan Evans.

The EP has received strong acclaim since its release, especially since Ballerini's performance of 'Blindsided' on the popular entertainment program Saturday Night Live in March.

The 2023 CMT Awards are all set to take place on April 2, airing live from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas on CBS.

Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown are taking on the hosting duties for the ceremony, with both finding themselves on the nominations list for 2023 too.
