The 2023 CMT Awards are shaping up to be an unmissable occasion, with a star-studded roster of artists set to take the Moody Center stage in Austin, Texas on April 2.
Texas’ own Cody Johnson will be firing up the crowd with his typically high-octane stage presence, and CoJo could well be leaving the ceremony with an array of additional trophies for his cabinet.
The ‘Human’ hitmaker has been nominated for three 2023 CMT awards.
Also performing will be Bell Bottom Country star, Lainey Wilson, who has picked up more 2023 nominations than any other artist, including a nod for the biggest prize of the night, Video of the Year.
Joining CoJo and Lainey as 2023 CMT performers will be co-hosts Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown, along with Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood and Katelyn Brown.
The already-announced Kane and Katelyn Brown will be performing their chart-topping single, ‘Thank God’, while Kane's fellow co-host, Kelsea Ballerini, is expected to play a track from her new Rolling Up the Welcome Mat EP, such as ‘Blindsided’ or ‘Penthouse’. Ballerini recently performed both on Saturday Night Live.
Blake Shelton will provide another hotly anticipated performance, with the country music veteran currently in the middle of his final season on The Voice USA.
