Although Morgan Wallen has just dropped a brand new album, he's still adding to the plethora of accolades he's received for his Dangerous material.

‘Wasted On You’, one of the many highlights from the album, has been nominated for 2023 CMT Male Video of the Year.

In addition, ‘You Proof’ has been nominated for the most coveted award of the evening, Video of the Year.

It's joined by a stellar roster of nominees, including Cody Johnson's ‘Human’, Luke Combs’ ‘The Kind Of Love We Make’, Kelsea Ballerini's ‘HEARTFIRST’ and more.

‘You Proof’ appears on Wallen's new record, One Thing At A Time, which has continued Dangerous’ record-breaking form.

The country star's new project recently racked up the biggest US streaming week for a country album, surpassing Taylor Swift's previous record.

The cinematic video for ‘You Proof’ finds Wallen singing from the back of a car as it swerves violently around the road.

It captures the angst and intensity that the genre-blending song carries, and remains one of the most successful tracks from One Thing At A Time.

In 2022, ‘You Proof’ became the longest-running Billboard Country Airplay chart No. 1 of all time. Nonetheless, it'll face stiff competition at this year's CMT Awards ceremony, with a number of country music heavyweights vying for the top prize.

Competing with Wallen's ‘Wasted On You’ in the Male Video of the Year category will be Cole Swindell's ‘She Had Me At Heads Carolina’ and Kane Brown's ‘Like I Love Country Music’.

Bailey Zimmerman is also nominated for Male Video of the Year, and the Louisville prodigy will not doubt feel overjoyed to be included alongside one of his heroes.

Zimmerman spoke to Holler last year about how Morgan Wallen has remains a big influence and a mentor for him.

The 2023 CMT Awards will take place on April 2 and will air live from Texas’ Moody Center on CBS.

Kane Brown and Kelsea Ballerini will be hosting once again, with both artists also receiving nominations.
