The CMT Music Awards will return to Austin, Texas’ Moody Center on Sunday, April 7, 2024. Beginning at 8pm ET, the three hour broadcast will be live on CBS and available to stream live and on demand via Paramount+ with SHOWTIME*.
The annual ceremony will return for its third consecutive year to CBS following record-setting ratings in 2023, with the broadcast reaching 6.18 million viewers.
The 2023 event, hosted by Kane Brown and Kelsea Ballerini, saw jaw-dropping performances from the likes of Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Ballerini, Brown and more.
Marking his debut ceremony, country-rap prodigy Jelly Roll won his first ever CMT Award for Digital-First Performance of the Year, as well as his second and third awards for Breakthrough Male Video of the Year and Male Video of the Year.
Other big winners included Lainey Wilson, who was awarded Female Video of the Year (‘Heart Like A Truck’) and Collaborative Video of the Year alongside HARDY (‘Wait in the Truck’), as well as Cody Johnson (Performance of the Year), Kane and Katelyn Brown (Video of the Year), Zac Brown Band (Group/Duo Video of the Year) and Megan Moroney (Breakthrough Female Video of the Year), among others.
Additional details, including hosts, nominees and performers, are expected to be announced in the coming months.
