Ahead of the release of her debut album, Lucky, on May 5, Megan Moroney has earned a nomination for New Female Artist of the Year at the 58th annual Academy of Country Music Awards.
The rising starlet, who first shot onto the scene in late 2022, will be vying for her first ACM award next month in Texas.
Moroney most recently celebrated her first nomination and win at the 2023 CMT Music Awards for Breakthrough Female Video of the Year for her Gold-certified breakout single 'Tennessee Orange.'
She also lit up the Ram Trucks Side Stage at the ceremony, where she gave fans a quick taste of the track with her signature twang and charm.
Earlier this week, Moroney, who has quickly started making waves across the country format, was unveiled as a member of the Opry NextStage Class of 2023 and she will release her newest single, 'Girl In The Mirror,' tomorrow (April 14).
On top of her ACM Award contention, the CMT Next Women of Country Class of 2023 member will be busy on the road this year as she makes appearances at several festivals this summer, and will be heading across the pond in August for her highly-anticipated UK debut.
The Georgia native is joined by some other familiar fast-rising faces in the category, including Priscilla Block, Caitlyn Smith, Morgan Wade and Hailey Whitters.
The competitive crop of high-flying female acts will battle it out on May 11 as country music takes over Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. The show will be streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
