Bailey Zimmerman is up for New Male Artist of the Year at the 2023 ACM Awards, with the country prodigy being nominated in recognition of a stellar 2022.
The Louisville native was one of the unquestionable break-out artists of last year, with his debut Leave The Light On EP spawning a number of hit singles, including ‘Fall In Love’ and ‘Rock and A Hard Place’.
Both of these heartbreak anthems have gone on to hit No. 1, which will certainly add weight to Bailey Zimmerman's case to be named a winner at the upcoming 2023 ACM Awards.
Also up for the 2023 ACM New Male Artist of the Year is Zach Bryan, Ernest, Jackson Dean, Nate Smith and Dylan Scott.
Zimmerman's toughest competition will arguably come from Ernest and Zach Bryan, with the latter having sky-rocketed into becoming one of the biggest names in modern country music. Ernest will also be vying for the award, with the Tennessee native having long established himself as one of the go-to songsmiths on Music Row.
Bailey Zimmerman is currently gearing up to release his debut full-length record, Religiously, on May 12. Given the fact that this will be the day after the 2023 ACM Awards ceremony in Frisco, Texas, Zimmerman's album rollout could well receive an added boost if he is crowned as the 2023 New Male Artist of the Year victor.
The hotly anticipated Texas ceremony will be hosted by Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton, and will also feature a star-studded array of performers, although the line-up is yet to be confirmed.
