Morgan Wallen has received four nods ahead of the 2023 ACM Awards, with the Sneedville megastar securing his first ever nomination for ACM Entertainer of the Year.
Wallen is also up for Male Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Artist-Songwriter of the Year at this year's ceremony, which is due to take place on May 11 in Frisco, Texas.
It builds on what's already shaping up to be a game-changing year for Morgan Wallen, who dropped his chart-topping new album, One Thing At A Time, on March 3.
Although the 36-song opus was released too recently to be considered at the 2023 ACM Awards, the continued success of his acclaimed 2021 project, Dangerous, is ensuring he's still enjoying a strong presence among this year's roster of nominees.
Wallen took home the 2022 ACM Award for Album of the Year for Dangerous, and now, one of the many stand-out tracks from the record, ‘Sand In My Boots’, has been nominated for Song of the Year at this year's instalment of the much-loved awards show.
Despite Morgan Wallen not being credited as a co-writer on ‘Sand In My Boots’, he did lend his pen to a slew of other tracks on both Dangerous and One Thing At A Time, which has ensured that he's in the running for 2023 ACM Artist-Songwriter of the Year.
Many are expecting the ‘Up Down’ hitmaker to enjoy a successful 2023 ACM Awards, especially given the fact that he currently sits atop the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, with One Thing At A Time also maintaining its position at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
The 2023 ACM Awards are set to be hosted by two living legends of country, Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton, with many hoping the two link up for a special one-off performance.
