The 57th Academy of Country Music Awards streamed live from Las Vegas on Monday night with host Dolly Parton, who opened the show with a duet of ‘Big Dreams and Faded Jeans’ with Kelsea Ballerini.
Co-hosts Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett also performed a countrified mash-up of Elvis Presley’s ‘Viva Las Vegas’ and Faith Hill’s ‘Let's Go to Vegas’.
The big double award winners on the night were Miranda Lambert, who picked up her first Entertainer of the Year trophy, alongside the award for Video of the Year for her Elle King duet.
Lainey Wilson also bagged the award for New Female Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for ‘Things a Man Oughta Know’.
Carly Pearce made it a big night for women in country when she also bagged a brace of awards for Female Artist of the Year and Music Event of the Year, for ‘Never Wanted to Be That Girl’ with Ashley McBryde.
Other notable winners included Morgan Wallen, whose Dangerous: The Double Album won Album of the Year, and Brothers Osborne, who celebrated winning the award for Duo of the Year with an acceptance speech that thanked their partners and John Osborne’s new puppy, Django.
In addition to the night's big winners, there were also performances from Maren Morris, Chris Stapleton, Luke Bryan, duets from Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean, and Thomas Rhett and Breland, while Ashley McBryde joined Eric Church for a medley of his hits.
Kelly Clarkson performed a tribute to the night’s host Dolly Parton, and Brothers Osborne played ‘Skeletons’ before joining Brittney Spencer to close out the show with a version of ‘These Boots Are Made For Walkin’.
