Zach Bryan has shared another unreleased song snippet to his Instagram Stories, as the ‘Something in the Orange’ hitmaker continues to gear up for the release of his eagerly awaited 2023 album.
The new demo, which appears to be untitled as of yet, finds Zach Bryan crooning touchingly about the object of his affection, as he poetically describes the unique feeling of being with her (“in the scorchin’ summer like the trees and stars she’s laying under / if i’m being right where they are / give her a buzz and a beat-down boy”).
The song sticks to the sparse feel of Zach's recent slew of teasers, and fans are already speculating as to whether this latest snippet will feature on the Oklahoma native's upcoming album.
The new project, which is expected to be called ‘Writers and Fighters’, is set to arrive on streaming platforms at some point in August, although we're yet to receive a concrete release date.
Earlier in July, Zach Bryan confirmed he'd finished recording the album, so this new snippet might well have been written too late for it to be included on Writers and Fighters.
Alternatively, maybe Zach is just giving fans a sneak peak at one of the songs he's already produced for the project, in addition to the ten snippets he shared across his socials in June in tandem with the announcement that his album was ‘coming soon’.
Amidst the disorienting sea of demos, clips and teasers Zach Bryan has drip-fed his fans over the past few months, only one thing remains certain - the 2023 ACM Male Artist of the Year loves to surprise us. Until we get a confirmed tracklist and release date for Writers and Fighters, who knows what Zach has up his sleeve for listeners.
