Among an impressive pool of nominees, Zac Brown Band nabbed the title for Group/Duo Video of the Year at the 2023 CMT Music Awards with their latest single 'Out In The Middle.'
Released in January of 2022, 'Out In The Middle' marked the second single from the band's seventh studio album, The Comeback.
The tune spawned a second version late last year featuring the familiar vocals of Blake Shelton.
Though not in attendance at this year's awards in Austin, Texas, Zac Brown Band have enjoyed an exciting start to 2023, including a dazzling performance at the 2023 C2C Festival.
This summer, the band will embark on their From the Fire Tour, beginning June 30 and running through November.
The band beat out the rest of the nominees, which included Dan + Shay's 'You (Performance Video),' Lady A's 'Summer State of Mind,' Little Big Town's 'Hell Yeah,' Parmalee's 'Take My Name,' and The War and Treaty's 'That’s How Love Is Made.'
At the 2022 edition of the CMT Music Awards, Maddie & Tae earned their first-ever CMT award in the same category with their empowering anthem, 'Woman You Got.'
The duo, who reinforced the girl power present in the country format, was nominated alongside some of this year's nominees, as well as Old Dominion and Grammy-winning duo Brothers Osborne.
Also ahead of the live show, Jelly Roll was announced as the first winner of the evening, taking home the prize for Digital-First Performance of the Year for his special rendition of ‘Son Of A Sinner’ on CMT All Access.
