Morgan Wallen's One Thing At A Time has maintained its position atop the Billboard 200 for a fourteenth week, making Wallen's 36-song opus the longest-running No. 1 album of the decade so far.
The Sneedville megastar's sprawling project has now overtaken Bad Bunny's Un Verano Sin Ti, which dropped in 2022 and remains a hugely popular record across the globe.
This also marks the longest run at the pinnacle of the Billboard 200 since Adele's 21, which racked up a staggering 24 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 throughout 2011 and 2012.
The fact that One Thing At A Time has now overtaken Bad Bunny - Spotify's most-streamed artist for three years running - underlines Morgan Wallen's unique ability to appeal to both a country-music-specific audience and a nationwide, mainstream listenership.
This is something few other artists in the genre have been able to do in recent years, with Wallen's closest competitor, Luke Combs, chasing his first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single with ‘Fast Car’, which looks set to move up to second position this week.
Wallen and Combs recently became the first country artists in 23 years to have two songs in the top five of the chart. If ‘Fast Car’ does slot in behind Morgan Wallen's chart-topping ’Last Night’ this week, then it will be the first time two country songs have filled the No. 1 and No. 2 position on the Billboard Hot 100 this century.
This will also be the 12th week Wallen's beat-driven anthem, ‘Last Night’, has spent at No. 1 on the Hot 100. In addition, ‘Last Night’ looks set to notch its eighth week atop the Billboard Country Airplay chart and his 20th week at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs ranking.
Morgan Wallen recently returned to the stage in Chicago, Illinois for a celebrated double-header of shows, following his six-week hiatus from touring, as a result of re-injuring his vocal chords.
