During her second set at The Long Road Festival 2023, which took place at Buddy's Good Time Bar, Megan Moroney performed two unreleased songs, ‘Nothing Crazy’ and ‘No Caller ID’.

The ‘Tennessee Orange’ hitmaker has teased the latter previously on her socials, but this served as the first time fans were able to hear the playful, tongue-in-cheek ‘Nothing Crazy’.

Introducing the new song, Megan Moroney recalled a conversation with one of her exes, “He called me crazy, and I said, ‘Oh, you wanna see crazy? I'll show you crazy. So I wrote this song just as kind of a joke, and it's really fun to sing. Hope you like it!”

The Georgia native's enchanting vocals meander conversationally across the easy strum of the accompanying guitar, as she assumes the role of a character who gets carried away plotting her future with a man she's only met once (“I can't wait for our second date / Maybe he'll show up with his grandma's ring / ‘Til then I'll be planning hard, naming our dogs and babies / You know, nothin’ crazy’).

‘Nothing Crazy’ is filled with the self-effacing charm and humour of Moroney's current Country Radio single, ‘I'm Not Pretty’, and when she decides to release it, it'll no doubt become another fan-favourite.

In addition, during her Buddy's Good Time bar performance, Megan Moroney performed the first verse and chorus of ‘No Caller ID’, an unreleased track she teased on socials towards the end of July.

Some speculated that this could be appearing on a deluxe version of Moroney's 2023 album, Lucky, but at The Long Road Festival she confirmed she's hoping to make ’No Caller ID’ one of the first tracks to feature on her sophomore album.

Earlier in the afternoon, Megan Moroney took the Rhinestone Stage for a packed-out set, which featured stellar renditions of ‘Sleep On My Side’, ‘Why Johnny’, ‘Tennessee Orange’ and more.
