Luke Combs, Cody Johnson and Bailey Zimmerman Among 2023 iHeartRadio Music Award Nominees

The nominations for the 2023 iHeartRadio Radio Music Awards are in! Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen receive a number of nods, while Cody Johnson, Bailey Zimmerman, Kelsea Ballerini and Kenny Chesney also feature in this year's list of nominees.

Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen lead the way with nominations for Country Song of the Year and Country Artist of the Year, while Wallen also features in the category for Best Lyrics, for 2022's fiery heartbreak anthem, ‘Wasted On You’.

Luke Combs will be happy to see that his official photographer, David Bergman, has been nominated for the socially voted category of Favorite Tour Photographer.

Bailey Zimmerman and Cody Johnson both receive nominations for Best New Country Artist, while Zimmerman has also been nominated for Social Star Award, in recognition of the immense popularity that the Louisville native continues to enjoy on Tik Tok.

Carrie Underwood receives a slew of nominations, with the Denim & Rhinestones star being named in the categories for Country Artist of the Year, Favorite Tour Style and Favorite Residency.

Jordan Davis and Luke Bryan's wistful, philosophical collaboration, ‘Buy Dirt’, also picks up a couple of nominations for Country Song of the Year and Best Lyrics.

Another high-profile collaboration being recognised by iHeartRadio is Kelsea Ballerini and Kenny Chesney's nostalgic, Knoxville-inspired track, ‘half of my hometown’.

The nomination provides an added boost ahead of the duo heading out on the road for Chesney's I Go Back tour, which kicks off in March in Pennsylvania.

Country icons, Shania Twain and Sheryl Crow, receive nods for their respective documentaries, while Shania also picks up a nomination in the Favorite Residency category for her ‘Let's Go!’ Las Vegas shows.

Country music's contingent of nominees also includes Elle King, Miranda Lambert, Cole Swindell, Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Elvie Shane and Priscilla Block.
