HARDY kicked off his first ever arena tour last night (Friday, August 31) at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum in Tennessee.

The ‘TRUCK BED’ songsmith rattled through an array of hits, including chart-topping fan-favourites he's penned for artists such as Morgan Wallen and Blake Shelton.

As expected, HARDY brought out his opening act, Lainey Wilson, to deliver a rousing rendition of their No. 1 duet, ‘wait in the truck’, to the delight of the packed-out crowd.

As Lainey emerged onto the dramatic, smoke-filled stage, the ‘Watermelon Moonshine’ singer-songwriter was greeted by a sea of cheers rippling across the expansive arena.

The ominous murder ballad, which appears on HARDY's 2023 album, the mockingbird & THE CROW, has transformed into one of the definitive country songs of the past twelve months, earning the duo a deserved ACM and CMT award earlier in the year.

In addition to performing ‘wait in the truck’ alongside Lainey Wilson, HARDY treated attendees to a high-energy live version of Morgan Wallen's ‘More Than My Hometown’. He covered the track earlier in the year with Ernest at Night in the Country Nevada 2023.

HARDY co-wrote the hit single with Morgan Wallen, Ernest and Ryan Vojtesak, with the five-times-Platinum earworm remaining one of the many highlights of Wallen's formidable discography.

Ticket-holders to the first night of HARDY's Fall tour with Lainey Wilson were also able to witness the country-rock maverick performing much-loved tracks such as ‘A ROCK’, ‘ONE BEER’, ‘GIVE HEAVEN SOME HELL’, ‘screen’, ‘SOLD OUT’, ‘JACK’ and ‘4x4’.

HARDY also performed his celebrated collaboration with Morgan Wallen, ‘red’, as well as covering Blake Shelton's electrifying ‘God's Country’, another chart-topper spawned from HARDY's pen.

Now, the Mississippi native has a brief break before taking the stage at Kentucky's Appalachian Wireless Arena on September 14. Then, he'll take his arsenal of metal-tinged firecrackers and country-leaning anthems to the Huntingdon Center in Toledo, Ohio and the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio across the following two evenings.
