HARDY has unveiled the new music video for his current Country Radio single, ‘TRUCK BED’.
The wild, unruly spirit that underpins the country-rock track is captured in the accompanying visuals, which open with HARDY waking up in the bed of his 4x4 following an all-night rager.
Every aspect of the song's narrative has been incorporated into the video - for instance, HARDY begins the video with nothing on his feet, extending ‘TRUCK BED’’s tongue-in-cheek nod to the singer-songwriter's 2020 single, ‘BOOTS’ (‘At least I took my boots off this time’).
In addition, the new ‘TRUCK BED’ video includes an assortment of famous faces, from champion golfer, John Daly, to actor, King Bach, along with ex-Tennessee Titans NFL player, Taylor Lewan.
Each member of HARDY's band also makes appearances in the high-energy, alcohol-soaked video, which takes place in the backyard of the lead character's girlfriend's house.
As HARDY and his gang party on, the protagonist's girlfriend - well, presumably ex-girlfriend, at this point - watches on through the blinds and shakes her head disapprovingly.
The Justin Clough-directed video closes with HARDY returning to his new bed in his truck, as the ‘One Beer’ hitmaker continues to be shunned from the house due to his persistent party-loving antics.
With HARDY's previous Country Radio single, the Lainey Wilson-assisted ‘wait in the truck’, hitting No. 1 back in April, the genre-blending maverick will be hoping this new video helps to propel ‘TRUCK BED’ towards a similar fate in the coming months.
