Eric Church may have only released his electrifying new single, ‘Hands Of Time’, a couple of weeks ago on March 20th, but the uptempo earworm has already surged to No. 1 on the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart, marking The Chief's first time at the peak.
‘Hands Of Time’ has proven an immediate hit with UK listeners, with Church's infectious new track securing 773,125 impressions during the latest tracking period, dated March 28th to April 3rd. This marks a sizeable 112% increase compared to last week.
The track, which finds Eric Church reflecting on how he uses music to help him navigate the passing years, serves as the lead single from the North Carolina native's highly anticipated new studio album, Evangeline vs. The Machine, arriving on May 2nd, 2025.
In taking the top spot, Eric Church's ‘Hands Of Time’ usurps Blake Shelton's eight-week No. 1, ‘Texas’, which has spent the longest amount of time at the pinnacle so far this year.
Slotting in at No. 2 is Dasha's heartbroken anthem, ‘Not At This Party’, with 662,193 impressions. The Top Five is completed by Drew Baldridge's ‘Tough People’, Shelton's ‘Texas’ and Ella Langley's ‘weren't for the wind’ at No. 3, 4 and 5 respectively.
This week also sees a couple of new entries, Jackson Dean's On The Back of My Dreams stand-out, ‘Real Real’ (No. 30), and Morgan Wallen's latest single, ‘Just in Case’ (No. 33).
