Notching another week atop the UK Radio Country Airplay chart is none other than Bailey Zimmerman & Luke Combs' uplifting single, 'Backup Plan.'
Set to be featured on his forthcoming record, Different Night, Same Rodeo, the uplifting track was released on May 2, though it was first teased all the way back in January. With the two country titans trading verses to encourage the listener to keep chasing their dreams, no matter the obstacles in their way, the song marks its second consecutive week at the UK chart's pinnacle.
Climbing two spots to No. 2 this week is Alex Warren & Jelly Roll's 'Bloodline,' followed by Russell Dickerson's 'Happen To Me,' Scotty McCreery's Hootie & The Blowfish-backed 'Bottle Rockets' and Morgan Wallen & Tate McRae's 'What I Want' to finish out the Top 5.
Elsewhere in this week's Top 20, Megan Moroney's sizzling new single, '6 Months Later,' debuts at No. 14. Meanwhile, Lainey Wilson's 'Somewhere Over Laredo' reappears in the upper ranks at No. 15, as does Sam Hunt's 'Country House,' which climbs from No. 66 to No. 19.
The UK Radio Country Airplay chart is the first genre-specific radio chart in the country, and is produced by Radiomonitor and the CMA's UK Task Force. The data is compiled from several UK country radio stations, including Absolute Radio Country, BBC Radio 2 - The Country Show with Bob Harris, CountryLine, Downtown Country Radio and Smooth Country Radio.
