After a mere three weeks on the UK Radio Country Airplay Chart, Ella Langley has secured her very first No. 1 alongside her newest duet partner, Riley Green.
Their quickly rising collaboration, 'you look like you love me,' arrived with much pomp and circumstance at the end of June and has started a frenzy among country fans far and wide in the weeks since. The speak-sing love song is set to appear on Langley's debut record, hungover, which drops on August 2 and will also feature her beloved "getting over you" anthem, 'paint the town blue.'
The celebrated duet rises an astounding 13 spots this week, knocking Post Malone & Blake Shelton's 'Pour Me A Drink' down to No. 3. Lainey Wilson's spitfire 'Hang Tight Honey' shoots up to No. 2 while Shaboozey's 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' maintains its spot at No. 4 and Luke Combs' 'Ain't No Love in Oklahoma' slides up to No. 5.
Elsewhere, we see several major moves, including Green's 'Damn Good Day To Leave' jumping up 19 spots to the seventh position. Similarly, Koe Wetzel and Jessie Murph's 'High Road' catapults up 30 spots, cracking the Top 20.
The UK Radio Country Airplay chart is the first genre-specific radio chart in the country, and is produced by Radiomonitor and the CMA's UK Task Force. The data is compiled from several UK country radio stations, including Absolute Radio Country, BBC Radio 2 - The Country Show with Bob Harris, CountryLine, Downtown Country Radio and Smooth Country Radio.
