Since Bailey Zimmerman stormed onto the country charts with his much-loved Leave the Light On EP back in October 2022, listeners have been keenly looking forward to his debut full-length album.

In March, the Louisville native confirmed that the record would be called Religiously: The Album, and released the title-track in tandem with the announcement.

On May 12, at long last, the rising star made the full project available on all platforms.

The country prodigy's upcoming project is due to be released on May 12, and will feature previously released singles, ‘Rock and A Hard Place’, ‘Get To Gettin’ Gone’ and more.

It features a handful of recent singles, ‘Get To Gettin’ Gone’, ‘Fix'n To Break’ and Bailey Zimmerman's dramatic Johnny Cash cover, ‘God's Gonna Cut You Down’, which was released with Nashville Soccer Club to celebrate the start of the MLS season.

2022's Leave The Light On featured eight songs plus an ‘Intro’, and many were therefore surprised that it wasn't billed as a studio album, with the project instead being released as an EP.

Nonetheless, the fact that it was called an EP suggested that Zimmerman may well include a handful of songs from his Leave The Light On project on his upcoming debut album.

Bailey Zimmerman then revealed that three Leave The Light On highlights had made the cut for Religiously: The Album - ‘Rock and A Hard Place’, ‘Where It Ends’ and the up-and-coming artist's first ever Country Radio No. 1, ‘Fall In Love’.

Last year, Bailey Zimmerman spoke to Holler about how he's been writing almost non-stop, and confirmed that he was planning to drop his debut album in 2023.

Since that conversation, the singer-songwriter has released a slew of singles, including December's ‘Get To Gettin’ Gone’ and the heartbroken ‘Fix'n To Break’.

With the Louisville artist picking up the pace at which he's been sharing new music as he join Morgan Wallen on his world tour, it seems the momentum behind Bailey Zimmerman is rapidly building as he continues his debut album rollout.
