New Country Songs
On the cover of this week's Best New Country playlist is Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen.
Two of the biggest stars in modern country music collide for this infectious, synth-backed offering, which finds Langley and Wallen trading verses as they long to return to one another's arms. ‘I Can't Love You Anymore’ - first performed in Alabama earlier this month - is a classic will-they-won't-they tale, with listeners left rooting for our protagonists to give into their love by the time the final note echoes out.

Best New Country Song of the Week
The rollout for Shaboozey's new album, The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales, is finally underway, with the ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ hitmaker treating us to the first taste of that keenly awaited project with the anthemic, folk-infused ‘Born to Die’.
It finds Shaboozey leaning into the uptempo, sea-shanty feel of recent hits such as ‘Good News’ and ‘Blink Twice’, while the lyrics are cut from the captivating, Wild-West-inspired cloth of his much-loved early project, Cowboys Live Forever, Outlaws Never Die. Judging by this dramatic track, the accompanying cinematic, Yellowstone-esque music video and his promise that the new album will be a full-blown concept project, it's safe to say we've got a lot to look forward to.
