Thomas Rhett has secured his second career UK Radio Country Airplay No. 1 with his Niall Horan-graced duet, 'Old Tricks.'
Included on the deluxe version of his 2024 album, About A Woman, the tune was originally released on the standard record as a collaboration with fellow country stalwart Blake Shelton. After getting a reimagined take with the former One Direction member, the song has scaled the UK chart, jumping from last week's spot at No. 5.
Rhett & Horan bump Ella Langley's 'Choosin' Texas' down to No. 2 this week, followed by Russell Dickerson's 'Worth Your Wild,' Shaboozey & Jell Roll's 'Amen' and Lainey Wilson's 'Somewhere Over Laredo.'
Elsewhere, this week's Top 20 sees a few new and returning faces with Ashley Cooke's 'swear words' claiming No. 8, Rhett seeking another entry with Jordan Davis on 'Ain't A Bad Life' at No. 18, Carter Faith's 'Betty' taking No. 19 and Lauren Alaina & Chase Matthew's 'All My Exes' capping the upper ranks.
The UK Radio Country Airplay chart is the first genre-specific radio chart in the country, and is produced by Radiomonitor and the CMA's UK Task Force. The data is compiled from several UK country radio stations, including Absolute Radio Country, BBC Radio 2 - The Country Show with Bob Harris, CountryLine, Downtown Country Radio and Smooth Country Radio.
