The UK Country Radio Airplay Chart has a new leader this week as Drew Baldridge's 'Tough People' climbs to the peak.
Rising one spot from last week, this marks Baldridge's second time atop the UK survey following the surge of his debut radio single, 'She's Somebody's Daughter,' which spent two weeks at No. 1 in late 2024. A rousing and empowering ode to the hard workers and resilient people all around the world, 'Tough People' has quickly struck a meaningful chord with country fans across the globe, with the song currently sitting just outside of the Top 15 on the U.S. country radio charts.
Previous chart-topper, Blake Shelton's 'Texas,' falls one spot to No. 2 after spending the last three weeks at the chart's pinnacle. Meanwhile, Ella Langley's 'weren't for the wind' makes a giant leap, up ten spots to No. 3, and Old Dominion's 'Coming Home' jumps six positions to No. 4. Lainey Wilson's '4X4XU' seals the UK Top 5.
Elsewhere, this week's Top 20 sees a few new and returning faces entering the ranks with Myles Smith's 'Nice To Meet You' debuting at No. 6. Further down, Max McNown's 'A Lot More Free' comes back to play at No. 17 and Kane Brown's 'Backseat Driver' claims the No. 19 spot.
The UK Radio Country Airplay chart is the first genre-specific radio chart in the country, and is produced by Radiomonitor and the CMA's UK Task Force. The data is compiled from several UK country radio stations, including Absolute Radio Country, BBC Radio 2 - The Country Show with Bob Harris, CountryLine, Downtown Country Radio and Smooth Country Radio.
