Marking its second consecutive week atop the UK Radio Country Airplay chart is none other than Cody Johnson's 'The Fall.'
Included on the deluxe version of his acclaimed Leather record, 'The Fall' was one of the 13 new songs from the Texas troubadour in November 2024, as well as the entertainer's first-ever UK chart-topper. The beloved single, which currently sits in the Top 40 on the U.S. equivalent chart, features a heavy helping of creative wordplay as Johnson offers up some philosophical ponderings on life and the human experience.
In the remainder of this week's Top 5, Megan Moroney's '6 Months Later' and Miranda Lambert & Chris Stapleton's 'A Song To Sing' rise two spots a piece to No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Jelly Roll's 'Heart of Stone' falls two spots to No. 4 while Dasha's 'Like It Like That' soars nearly thirty spots to close out the Top 5.
Elsewhere, this week's Top 20 sees a handful of returning faces, including Parmalee's 'Cowgirl' (No. 15), Jackson Dean's 'Heavens To Betsy' (No. 19) and Josh Ross' 'Hate How You Look' (No. 20).
The UK Radio Country Airplay chart is the first genre-specific radio chart in the country, and is produced by Radiomonitor and the CMA's UK Task Force. The data is compiled from several UK country radio stations, including Absolute Radio Country, BBC Radio 2 - The Country Show with Bob Harris, CountryLine, Downtown Country Radio and Smooth Country Radio.
