Megan Moroney demonstrated why she's being tipped as a future star of country music through a stellar 2024 CMT Awards performance of her recent single, ‘No Caller ID’.
The sinuous, introspective offering is expected to feature on the Georgia native's hotly anticipated Lucky follow-up, with many listeners predicting a late 2024 release for the album.
Judging from Moroney's enchanting live performance of ‘No Caller ID’, her new music will build on the momentum from Lucky and its chart-topping lead single, ‘Tennessee Orange’.
Marking Moroney's debut on the CMT main-stage – and the televised world premiere of ‘No Caller ID’ – the fast-emerging artist showed no signs of nerves as she performed with her trademark sincerity and captivating, conversational vocals.
With Moroney also taking the stage with Old Dominion for ‘Can't Break Up Now’ and earning three nominations ahead of the ceremony, the 2024 CMT Awards highlighted the up-and-coming singer-songwriter's rapid rise since last year's CMTs, during which she won 2023 Breakthrough Female Video of the Year.
Elsewhere during the star-studded evening, the 2024 CMT Awards saw captivating performances from Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson, Parker McCollum & Brittney Spencer, Trisha Yearwood and more.
