One of Big Loud's most exciting rising acts, Lauren Watkins, is releasing another new collection of music this November.

The second of her 'Introducing' projects, Watkins will share two tracks every two weeks from October 20, with the full collection available to listen to in full from November 20.

The release is made up of six new songs, all co-written by Watkins alongside such songwriting luminaries as Jessie Jo Dillon, Ashley Monroe, The Warren Brothers, Nicolle Galyon, Rodney Clawson, David Garcia and more.

The project will also feature two of Watkins' rising contemporaries, with Carter Faith appearing on 'Fly On The Wall' and fellow Big Loud favourite Jake Worthington joining on the suggestively titled 'Cowboys On Music Row'.

Teasing the release of the new project across social media, Watkins shared a video suggesting that she was heading into the next chapter of her burgeoning career.

The video shows a vinyl player spinning her first release, Introducing: Lauren Watkins, as it plays her song 'Dark Places' to the end. The vinyl is then replaced with a new record, with the centre-piece presenting her new project, Introducing: The Heartbreak. It suggests a seamless segue from one project to the next, while there still being an undeniable tie between the two.

Introducing: The Heartbreak follows the Nashville native's debut project Introducing: Lauren Watkins, which was released to acclaim in April of this year.

To celebrate the release of both of her 2023 projects, Watkins has announced her new show residency – suitably entitled The Heartbreak Supper Club. Taking place at Nashville's Springwater Supper Club & Lounge, Watkins will host and play across three nights of music on October 17, Halloween (October 31) and November 14.

Alongside her residency shows, Watkins is heading out on tour supporting Austin Snell and Conner Smith before the year is out. In 2024, she's booked in at the stadiums supporting Morgan Wallen, then heading for her debut appearance at Stagecoach in California.
