Noah Kahan has teased an imminent 2027 tour announcement, with the ‘Stick Season’ hitmaker hinting at his Seattle show that he'll be returning to the road next summer.
During last night's set in Washington (August 31st), in celebration of it being the ‘End of August’ - quite literally - Kahan surprised attendees with clues about a 2027 tour. The packed-out show was the final tour-stop on his 2026 North America run.
He's already unveiled stadium dates across The Pond in London, Dublin and Glasgow next June, but now Kahan appears to be teasing a full-blown North American tour, too.
The teaser came during the much-loved phone-booth skit in his set, when he pretends to pick up the phone and have a conversation with someone before performing ‘She Calls Me Back’. His opener, Gigi Perez, usually joins him for this live-wire track.
Kahan playfully answered the ringing telephone by responding, “Hello? God, of all religions? I know you're sad that the tour is almost over. Oh, I should tour again next summer?”
He goes on to joke that there will be serious repercussions if he doesn't hit the road again in 2027, with the ‘Orange Juice’ crooner quipping, “We'll see. Oh, I'll go to hell if I don't? Okay, f***. Well, Jews can't go to hell, I thought? Okay, we'll see. Love you”.
Somewhat amusingly, it's not the first time Kahan has answered the phone to find ‘God’ on the other end, with the Vermont native usually switching up his caller each night. He's even had celebrity cameos from the likes of Drake Maye and David Ortiz.
We suspect that, given the fact that Kahan has already unveiled his 2027 UK and Ireland shows for next summer, his 2027 North America tour announcement is surely on the horizon. Kahan has now concluded the main portion of his US and Canada run, with just his Folk & Fairways benefit concert lined up for September 15th before he heads Down Under for his Australia and New Zealand leg.
Then, he brings his arsenal of folk anthems to the UK and Europe in November. We imagine Kahan's North American tour reveal will come before Folk & Fairways - watch this space.
