Zach Bryan has taken to Instagram to share a heartwarming tribute to Lana Del Rey, following their haunting collaboration, ‘Lies’, which appears on Bryan's new Young Manhood & Other Donatable Organs EP. The project arrived on October 16th, 2026.
Lana Del Rey celebrated the eagerly awaited release of the song by uploading a clip of Bryan performing the introspective offering alongside an undulating, intimate set of keys.
In the comments, Bryan underlines how much he appreciated Lana making the time to join him for this duet, describing it as the “honor of a lifetime” getting to know the ‘Video Games’ hitmaker and her husband, Jeremy Dufrene. Bryan warmly gushes, “honor of a lifetime getting to know you and jeremy. I’ll cherish this song forever”. It marked a touching full-circle moment for Bryan, who covered ‘Video Games’ back in 2023 and has cited Lana as an influential artist in his early career.
Bryan's wife, Samantha Bryan, has echoed the ‘Something in the Orange’ singer-songwriter's sentiments, commenting, “The most beautiful collaboration - we love you guys”.
‘Lies’ is one of the stand-out songs from Bryan's eclectic, genre-blurring Young Manhood & Other Donatable Organs EP, with the Oklahoma native and Lana crooning gently across a pared-down instrumental about a toxic yet addictive romance.
Bryan and Lana teased the collaboration in the lead-up to the project's release, with the latter sharing a clip from a studio session, as well as revealing they'd purchased whale-themed artwork that was seemingly inspired by another song they'd written together.
Given how enchanting ‘Lies’ is and how beautifully their vocals complement one another, we're hoping this formidable duo indeed have another duet up their sleeves soon.
Perhaps we'll get to hear it as part of Lana's long-teased country album, formerly called Lasso, The Right Person Will Stay, Classic and Stove. The elusive project, which was first unveiled in early 2024, is now rumoured to be called Nothing Kills Your Name, with Lana hinting at a companion project, seemingly titled Spyda.
