Lana Del Rey, born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, has built her artistry on her signature cinematic style paired with nostalgic Americana themes.

She first gained widespread recognition with her breakthrough single, 'Video Games,' in 2011, showcasing her musical cocktail that's one part pop and indie music, and another part melancholic lyrics and lush production.

Del Rey's debut album, 2012's Born to Die, cemented her place as one of pop music's leading ladies, featuring standout, chart-topping hits like 'Summertime Sadness' and "'Blue Jeans,' among others. The entertainer followed it up with stride after stride of critically acclaimed projects, including 2014's Ultraviolence and 2015's Honeymoon, both of which explored themes of love, loss and longing, and became cult classics.

Commonly drawing inspiration from classic Hollywood and vintage Americana, her distinct aesthetic, authentic storytelling and emotional depth have combined to earn a loyal legion of fans, as well as numerous awards and nominations throughout her career.

At the turn of 2024, Del Rey made her first venture into country music, releasing a haunting cover of John Denver's iconic 'Take Me Home, Country Roads.' With follow-up singles in the form of 2025's 'Bluebird' and 'Henry, come on,' the New York native seems to be readying her debut country project.
