The official line-up of in-game radio stations and hosts has been unveiled for Grand Theft Auto VI, with Morgan Wallen and Lana Del Rey set to co-host Back Country Radio.

Del Rey's husband, Jeremy Dufrene, will be making a few cameo appearances, too, as Mud Dog Mike, Back Country's roving reporter, swamp meteorologist and airboat captain.

Wallen appears as ‘MW’, while Del Rey voices a character named ‘Delta Dawne’. Monster Energy released a promotional video starring Wallen the previous day, the plot of which also revolves around the nick-name of ‘MW’, but this seems to be a coincidence.

The exciting news comes hot on the heels of Wallen contributing an original song, ‘Last Thing You Need’, to the official GTA VI soundtrack. He's joined on the stacked roster by the likes of Travis Scott, Future, Metro Boomin, Keith Richards and more.

In addition to Back Country Radio, players can listen to:

  • Cocoteo FM hosted by Bad Bunny and RaiNao
  • AfroBank FM hosted by Palms Trax and Burna Boy
  • Flash FM hosted by Robyn and Alex Consani
  • Dirty South Classics hosted by Trick Daddy and Trina
  • The Chamber 106.6 hosted by Tom Araya and Kerry King

Wallen becomes the first country artist in history to appear in Grand Theft Auto, highlighting both the genre's explosion in popularity in recent years, and Wallen's crossover appeal. The station, which players can listen to while driving around in the game, will reportedly feature artists like David Allan Coe, Hank Williams and Loretta Lynn.

It's undoubtedly an interesting pairing, putting him with Del Rey, given the fact that she famously sang, “I kissed Morgan Wallen / I guess kissing me kind of went to his head / If you want my secret to success / I suggest don't go ATVing with him when you're out west”, during her Stagecoach Festival set in California last year.

Speaking ahead of the unveiling, Del Rey underlined her pride at being involved, “One of the coolest things about this is the fact that the first time some of our family got to LA they actually knew the roads because of playing the game”.

The ‘Video Games’ singer-songwriter, who has been teasing a country-leaning project for the best part of three years, enthusiastically added, “On so many different levels this is super special and a privilege. Can’t wait to get into the game and start playing”. GTA VI is set to be released via Rockstar Games on November 19th, 2026.
