Hailey Whitters has offered fans another taste of her upcoming I'm in Love EP. The Iowa prodigy has released the next single from the hotly anticipated project, ‘Tie'r Down’.
It's another sweet, uptempo anthem that follows in a similarly rose-tinted vein to the EP's title-track, which Whitters released last week. ‘Tie'r Down’ showcases the up-and-coming artist's distinctive ability to tug on the heartstrings while still lacing each line with her trademark playfulness and tongue-in-cheek charm.
In a way, the song feels like a sequel to ‘Everything She Ain't’, as Hailey Whitters lists a variety of her endearing, down-home quirks and qualities in the third-person, before warning her partner, “Yeah, she might tie the knot / But you can't tie'r down”.
Listeners are celebrating the release of ‘Tie'r Down’, especially given the fact that Whitters has teased the track during a number of recent live performances, including her captivating set on the Chevy Riverfront Stage at CMA Fest 2023.
On the upcoming I'm in Love EP, ‘Tie'r Down’ will be joined by the already-released title-track and Whitters’ Country Radio Top 20 hit, ‘Everything She Ain't’.
In addition, the keenly awaited project will feature an exciting trio of unreleased songs, ‘Countryside Chick’, ‘Mellencamp’ and ‘Bad Love’. I'm in Love will be Hailey Whitters’ first body of work since her acclaimed 2022 album, Raised, which was chosen as Holler's Album of the Year.
