Hailey Whitters has officially kicked off a new musical era, with the Corn Star dropping a brand new track, ‘I'm in Love’. Whitters accompanied the release with confirmation that the full project will be arriving on streaming platforms on July 28.
It's now been revealed that ‘I'm in Love’ is the title-track for an upcoming EP. Any new music from Hailey Whitters is cause for celebration, especially given the fact that her 2022 album, Raised, was deservedly championed as Holler's Album of the Year.
The newly shared track, ‘I'm in Love’, continues in a similarly upbeat, light-hearted vein to her previous single, ‘Everything She Ain't’, which remains Whitters’ most popular song to date.
‘I'm in Love’ is a sweet, wide-eyed tribute to the freedom and euphoria of a summer romance, and allows the Iowa native to showcase the charisma and playful swagger that pervaded Raised.
The release of this surprise single will have no doubt whetted fans’ appetites ahead of Hailey Whitters’ new project. Thankfully, they'll only have to wait another couple of weeks to hear the EP, and we're keeping our fingers crossed that the up-and-coming artist treats listeners to another single or two before the full project drops.
‘I'm in Love’ will no doubt sustain the momentum that Hailey Whitters has been building through the success of ‘Everything She Ain't’. The track continues to climb the charts, and Whitters has been performing the uplifting anthem on a variety of national TV shows, such as NBC's Today Show.
