Ernest continues to tease his next album, with the ‘Flower Shops’ hitmaker confirming the new project will feature an appearance from his good buddy and Big Loud label-mate, HARDY.

Ernest tweeted the revelation on Sunday (July 16), writing simply, ‘Got a @HardyMusic feature’. The news has been greeted with unbounded excitement from Ernest's followers, with many listeners heralding the Big Loud trio of Ernest, HARDY and Morgan Wallen as one of the most prolific and influential groupings in modern country music.

In addition, Ernest shared a shortlist of some of the other country stars he's hoping to recruit for the upcoming record. Taking to Twitter, Ernest revealed that he will ideally secure another feature from Morgan Wallen, with the two looking to recreate the success of their much-loved 2021 single, ‘Flower Shops’.

Last month, Ernest spoke to Holler to hint at the possibility of a new Morgan Wallen collaboration, teasing, “It’s all about finding the right song…wouldn’t put it past us to come up with something…”

Also making Ernest's bucket-list of features for his new album is his long-time friend and ‘Son Of A Sinner’ co-writer, Jelly Roll, with the two having joined forces on-stage a number of times in recent months, along with Lainey Wilson and Lukas Nelson.

Since this post, Ernest retweeted somebody else's comment, which added two more names to the potential features list for the new project - Koe Wetzel and Kolby Cooper.

Although HARDY appears to be the only confirmed guest vocalist so far, it's safe to say the sense of anticipation is soaring ahead of Ernest's upcoming project. After February's stellar Two Dozen Roses deluxe project, expectations will undoubtedly be sky-high.
