In 2013, Travis suffered a debilitating stroke, with the country legend being left with aphasia, which severely impacted his ability to speak and sing. However, in 2024, Travis’ voice was brought back through the inventive use of AI-generated vocals on ‘Where That Came From’. In 2026, Travis announced his first original body of work in 18 years, featuring original, non-AI recordings from across his career.
