Since the release of her stellar debut EP, Excuse the Mess, in 2023, Ella Langley has skyrocketed into the upper echelons of country music's modern stars.
Featuring eight songs, including the title track, 'Make Me Wanna Smoke,' 'That's Why We Fight' alongside Koe Wetzel and 'Country Boy's Dream Girl,' the EP served as a fitting introduction to the Alabama hitmaker-in-the-making as seamlessly blended muddy country rock and neotraditional charm with an irresistable commercial country sheen.
Quickly becoming a name worth watching, Langley found herself as support on a variety of top-tier tours throughout 2023 and 2024, including Jon Pardi, Morgan Wallen and, most importantly, Riley Green.
While on tour with Green throughout the summer of 2024, the pair joined forces for a little ditty called 'you look like you love me,' which became the Country Song of 2024 practically overnight and was the center point of her debut full-length album, hungover. Finding its way onto a long list of Best Songs lists, all-genre charts and to the No. 1 spot at country radio, the duet become a defining part of Langley's career, leading her to recieve 8 nominations at the 2025 ACM Awards, including for New Female Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, Musical Event of the Year and Visual Media of the Year, all of which she took home the trophy for.
