Despite rumours that this will be his last ever run of shows, Zach Bryan's Quittin’ Time tour is showing no signs of slowing down, with the ‘Oklahoma Smokeshow’ hitmaker bringing his formidable catalogue of fire-starters to Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Zach will be taking the stage at the Alerus Center, with his two opening acts set to be Levi Turner and Matt Maeson across both the August 25th and August 26th shows.
Turner has been supporting Zach for a plethora of 2024 tour-dates, with the folk-leaning crooner the first artist to be signed to Zach's Belting Bronco imprint. Maeson is a fellow genre-blender, fusing alt-folk and indie sounds across his discography.
Zach Bryan has been mixing it up when it comes to his 2024 setlist, but you can - usually - rest assured that he'll play fan-favourites such as ‘Open the Gate’, ‘Overtime’ and ‘Heading South’. Frustratingly, he doesn't always play his two biggest hits to date, ’Something in the Orange’ and ’I Remember Everything’, but he has thankfully been making these a more regular part of his show of late.
Although this varies from night to night, based on his recent performances, Zach Bryan tends to come out on-stage at around 9:15pm, giving everything he has until 11pm.
If you're driving to the Alerus Center, the parking lots open at 1pm, with event parking available from $15. Excitingly, there is a pre-show tailgate at both the Grand Forks shows, which will take place at the Bud Light Parking Lot Party. This kicks off at 1pm on Sunday, August 25th and finishes at 6pm, with a slightly shorter party planned for the following day. On Monday, August 25th it'll run from 3pm to 6pm.
It's due to be sweltering in Grand Forks on Sunday, with highs of 93 expected, with Monday predicted to be a slightly damper affair, with some rain forecast and highs of 78. One thing's for sure - regardless of whether it's from sweat or a downpour, Zach Bryan will be delivering two ‘Wet, Hot American Nights’ in North Dakota.
You can find the full bag policy and list of prohibited items for the Alerus Center here, but you're generally advised not to bring a bag at all, if it's possible. If you do need to bring a bag into the venue, bear in mind it must not be larger 5.5 inches by 8.5 inches.
If you're still unsure what to wear to Zach Bryan's two-show extravaganza in Grand Forks, he has a rather impressive range of merchandise options available via his official site, including a varsity-inspired crewneck and a bold red cap inspired by his widely lauded 2024 album, The Great American Bar Scene. There will also be merch at the shows themselves, with this generally differing slightly between tour-stops, and fans are still desperately trying to get their hands on one of Zach's Philadelphia Eagles collaborations, which were on-sale at his Philly dates.
Zach Bryan's 2024 performances are electric, with his rousing ‘Revival’ finale always serving a raucous, energising close to his show. Sometimes, he even brings out a special guest or two during this song, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled in case he decides to do so during his hotly anticipated spell in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
