After tweeting a few days ago that he was “done dropping” new music for a while, Zach Bryan has followed this up with a teaser of his upcoming live album.

It seems that ‘a while’ for Zach Bryan translates as ‘under a month’ - but hey, we're not complaining!

He's already confirmed that his next studio album will be called Writers and Fighters, but he also revealed last week that he was readying a live project.

This weekend, Bryan tweeted a video of him editing what appears to be the live album artwork.

The camera zooms into the top left corner, focusing in on a short tracklist, featuring songs such as ‘Open the Gate’, ‘God Speed’, ‘Highway Boys’ and ‘Condemned’ - the latter of which, as one eagle-eyed fan pointed out, Bryan had misspelt.

While he remained coy about the nature of the project, it seems safe to assume that it is the live album, given the fact that all songs except one on the tracklist have already been released.

The tracklist's only unreleased song, ‘Country Roads with Charles Wesley Godwin’, is a song that the two good friends performed live a number of times as part of Bryan's 2022 tour.

Bryan already put out a live recording of ‘Condemned’ in 2021, but it looks like he'll be revamping this fan-favourite for his new project.

The video came after Bryan tweeted that new music would be on the way around Christmas time, and fans are hoping that this means the live album will be available to stream before the year is out.

Earlier in 2022, Bryan confirmed that he would be recording this live project at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.

This has already been established one of the most iconic set of his American Heartbreak tour, as Bryan played out while snow fell dramatically all around him.

Fans will be hoping that his well-timed Red Rocks performance of ‘Snow’, from his 2019 DeAnn album, will make the live project.

At the end of the teaser clip, Bryan's cursor blinks tantalisingly at the end of the tracklist.

Does this imply that he isn't done typing, and that the project will feature more than the five songs in the video?

Let's hope so!
