Given the fact that Jelly Roll has released around twenty albums - depending on which you classify as mixtapes, collaborative projects, etc. - the Nashville native must have a hard time pinning down a setlist.
Judging from recent shows, he's incorporating an eclectic blend of tracks from across his vast discography.
The selection includes his now-Platinum single, ‘Son Of A Sinner’, which also became Jelly Roll's first ever No. 1 at Country Radio earlier in the year. The atmospheric song finds the singer-songwriter at his most vulnerable, as he opens up about his mistakes and flaws.
Here you can find Jelly Roll's updated setlist as he embarks on his 2023 Backroad Baptism concert tour.
Jelly Roll has also been performing his morerecent singles singles, ‘She’ and ‘Need A Favor’, both of which feature on his acclaimed 2023 album, Whitsitt Chapel.
Earlier in the year, Jelly Roll impressed the Texas audience at the 2023 CMT Awards with his blistering, choir-assisted performance of ‘Need A Favor’, and fans will be eagerly awaited the chance to hear it in-person during the country-rock phenom's Backroad Baptism tour this year.
A number of Jelly Roll's older, rap-inspired songs still make the cut for his setlist, including ‘Creature’ and ‘The Hate Goes On’.
Interestingly, he's been closing his shows with a powerful rendition of his 2020 single, ‘Save Me’. A revamped version of the evocative track was included on Whitsitt Chapel, featuring one of the biggest stars in modern country, Lainey Wilson.
With Jelly Roll taking an all-star line-up of supporting acts on his 2023 Backroad Baptism tour, including Chase Rice and Ashley McBryde, ticket-holders will be curious to see whether Lainey joins her ‘Save Me’ collaborator on the road for a live performance of the song.
