Shortly after announcing his brand new album, Whitsitt Chapel, country-rap maverick, Jelly Roll, revealed that he'd be making a variety of merchandise and vinyls available in honour of the upcoming record.
Although the only two officially confirmed songs on Whitsitt Chapel are Jelly Roll's latest singles, ‘Need A Favor’ and ‘She’, eagled-eyed fans noticed a tracklist unassumingly emblazoned on all the vinyls on-sale in the artist's online store.
Despite being printed in a small font, the titles are just about legible, with one song in particular piquing fans’ interest.
‘Save Me’, which appears on Side B, credits Bell Bottom Country and Yellowstone star, Lainey Wilson, as a featured artist.
This would serve as the first ever collaboration between the two, and would seemingly revamp an old version of ‘Save Me’, which appeared on Jelly Roll's 2020 rap-inspired album, Self Medicated.
From the looks of the vinyl tracklist, Whitsitt Chapel, which is due to be released on June 2, will also feature collaborations with Yelawolf, Brantley Gilbert and Struggle Jennings.
Both Yelawolf and Jennings are set to join Jelly Roll on his 2023 Backroad Baptism tour, which kicks off on July 28 in Southaven, Mississippi.
In addition, the run of dates will feature appearances from Ashley McBryde, Chase Rice, Elle King, Merkules and more.
Lainey Wilson, on the other hand, is currently in the middle of her immensely popular Country With A Flare tour, having recently returned from a captivating series of shows across The Pond at C2C Festival 2023.
