Billed as Western Sports' most lucrative single-day event, with a $1 million prize on offer, the rodeo will be taking place on March 11.

Not only does he boast a famously high-powered live show, but he also began his career in the rodeo ring.
Before he had aspirations of being a country singer, Johnson was a professional bull rider.
Growing up in Texas, the invitation to become the 2023 The American Rodeo's halftime entertainer will feel like a homecoming of sorts for the man known to his fans as ‘CoJo’.
Cody Johnson is set to release his Cody Johnson & The Rockin‘ CJB Live album on December 2.
The project will give attendees at the 2023 rodeo event a taste of what they can expect from his hotly anticipated set.
The news as the cherry on top of a fruitful year for Johnson, with his single, ‘‘Til You Can't’ recently receiving two CMA 2022 awards, along with a 2023 Grammy nomination for Best Country Song.
