Zach Bryan has taken to his socials after a temporary break from Instagram to share a flurry of photos from his recent tour-stops, including a tantalising studio shot alongside John Mayer.

It appears the two artists have been cooking something up during a recent session, with Zach Bryan seemingly on track to continue his relentlessly prolific streak of releases.

It remains to be seen whether the song they were collaborating on will only feature John Mayer on guitar, or whether he'll be providing a set of guest vocals as well.

Either way, we can't wait to see what the two stellar songsmiths have been up to, with John Mayer remaining a hugely influential figure for a number of modern country artists.

For instance, earlier in the year Ernest paid tribute to the ‘Free Fallin’ hitmaker with an enchanting cover of John Mayer's iconic track, ‘Slow Dancing In A Burning Room’, with the stripped-back rendition being included on his ERNEST & The Fellas Unplugged project.

In addition to sharing a studio snap with John Mayer, Zach Bryan also posted an endearing photo alongside country icon, Randy Travis, with the two having seemingly met backstage at a show.
