Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves have picked up their first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1, with their newly released collaboration, ‘I Remember Everything’, taking the top spot on the all-genre chart this week.
The introspective, nostalgic duet appears on Zach Bryan's acclaimed self-titled record, which was made available on Friday, August 25. The blockbuster Kacey Musgraves collaboration inevitably dominated fans’ attention in the lead-up to the release, and many were tipping it to be the most streamed track from the album.
Zach and Kacey have exceeded expectations by securing the coveted No. 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100. The two country artists triumphed over a tough challenge from Doja Cat's ‘Paint the Town Red’, Luke Combs’ ‘Fast Car’ and Morgan Wallen's ‘Last Night’.
Although Doja Cat's new single slots in at No. 3 this week, the business end of the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 is excitingly still dominated by country, with four out of the top six songs being country songs.
Zach Bryan's latest accolade comes off the back of his new album, Zach Bryan, hitting the pinnacle of the Billboard 200 - the first time the ‘Something in the Orange’ hitmaker has achieved this feat.
In addition to ‘I Remember Everything’, which finds two ex-lovers looking wistfully back on their broken relationship, Zach Bryan's latest record features celebrated collaborations with The War and Treaty, Sierra Ferrell and The Lumineers.
