Morgan Wallen headlines Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium this Saturday (April 18th, 2026) - and we have some inklings and suspicions as to who will be joining him for his now-iconic pre-show walk-out, including Nick Saban, Justin Thomas and Ty Simpson.
Wallen's walk-out has become a beloved tradition ahead of his shows in recent years, with the Sneedville megastar being joined by a dazzling array of stars from the sports and music worlds. We've seen him flanked by Travis Kelce, Tom Brady, Mike Tyson and even Drake - so naturally, we're wondering who we can look forward to seeing walking alongside the ‘Love Somebody’ hitmaker in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
We've broken down our pre-show walk-out predictions for Wallen's 2026 Bryant-Denny Stadium concert below, ranked by how likely we really think these cameos are...
Money On Me (Most Likely): Nick & Kristen Saban
It goes without saying that Wallen is one of the most revered stars on the planet right now. But in Tuscaloosa, it doesn't get much bigger than Nick Saban, the legendary coach who took the helm of Alabama Crimson Tide for a staggering 17 years. The playing field at Bryant-Denny Stadium is even named Saban Field in his honour.
With Wallen facing some light-hearted criticism from Crimson Tide fans because of his allegiance to their arch-rivals, the Tennessee Volunteers, it's hard to think of a better way to ensure the crowd are on his side than by walking out with Saban.
With Nick's daughter, Kristen, coming to Wallen's defence this week amidst the hate he's been getting for being a Vols supporter, we could see Kristen joining the pre-show walk-out, too.
Hope That's True (Very Possible): Ty Simpson, Justin LeBron & Garrett Staton
Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Ty Simpson is a major country fan, with Simpson even name-dropping Wallen when asked about his pre-game playlist in a recent interview, “I listen to country music every time before a game. So, whether it’s Morgan Wallen, Riley Green, Luke Combs...it gets me in the mode. I feel back at home”. As a result, if Wallen gives him the call, we're sure Simpson would jump at the chance to join him in Tuscaloosa for a crowd-pleasing home-team walk-out.
We could also see the Sneedville native mixing it up and recruiting a Crimson Tide baseball star from neighbouring Sewell–Thomas Stadium, perhaps Justin LeBron, for instance. As much as he loves his college football, Wallen is a baseball aficionado.
If he does go down the baseball route, Garrett Staton is another leading walk-out candidate, with Staton having Wallen's electric ERNEST duet, ‘Cowgirls’, as his own walk-up song.
F150-50 (Fifty-Fifty Chance): Justin Thomas
Golfing maestro Justin Thomas is a longstanding buddy of Wallen's, with the major winner even inviting the ‘Last Night’ chart-topper to his Tennessee wedding back in 2022.
They've been spotted hanging out a number of times, and Wallen loves his golf. What's more, Thomas is a University of Alabama alumnus, playing college golf for Crimson Tide.
Now, Thomas is currently competing in the RBC Heritage tournament in South Carolina, but with JT on +5 at the time of writing, it looks more than likely that he'll miss the cut. This would leave his Saturday open for a relatively short tip to Tuscaloosa to join his good buddy Wallen at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Honestly, given how close the pair are, we're surprised this walk-out link-up hasn't happened sooner.
Just in Case (Wildcard Pick): Drake
Okay, this one seem a little more far-fetched on first glance - but hey, stranger things have happened. Drake is seemingly an Alabama Crimson Tide fan, donning a Crimson Tide hoodie in the past and backing them in the 2019 National Championships.
The timing is perfect, with the excitement at fever pitch ahead of Drake's next album, Iceman. The internet has been abuzz with rumours he'd drop it as early as this week, and then we got an eerie explosion in Toronto, supposedly for the rapper's new music video. A Wallen walk-out would dial up the anticipation a few more notches.
Morgan Wallen and Drake have been friends ever since the Toronto phenom invited Wallen to appear in his ‘You Broke My Heart’ music video back in December 2023. Drake then joined Wallen for his Houston walk-out last summer, which reignited speculation that the duo were plotting a star-studded, genre-blurring collaboration.
We still suspect Drake has hopped on the long-teased extended version of Wallen's I'm the Problem ‘Interlude’, and with fans speculating that Wallen might have a deluxe version of that album up his sleeve named after his Still the Problem Tour, what better way to announce that project and the ‘Interlude’ remix than with a Drake cameo in Tuscaloosa. Who knows, perhaps he'll even join him on-stage for the live debut of their collaboration? We'll be keeping our fingers crossed...
