Tyler Childers has announced a double-header of special New Year's Eve live shows on December 30 and 31 in Lexington, Kentucky. Support will come from Shovels & Rope.

The two performances will take place at Lexington's Rupp Arena, just a relatively short drive away from Lawrence County, where Tyler Childers grew up.

The ‘Lady May’ songsmith retains a close affinity with his home-state of Kentucky, with the mayor of Lexington even declaring June 4 ‘Tyler Childers Day’ ahead of his celebrated headlining slot at Railbird Festival 2023 last month.

The news follows hot on the heels of Tyler's unveiling of a brand new single, ‘In Your Love’, which is due to be released on Thursday, July 27 at the somewhat unusual time of 8am ET.

Although it's not yet been confirmed, ‘In Your Love’ is widely expected to be the first taste of a new full-length album from Tyler. Fans are hoping he'll have already released the entire record by the time his two New Year's Eve sets roll around.

In addition to an array of new tracks, attendees will no doubt be keenly looking forward to hearing Tyler Childers perform a slew of fan-favourites from his expansive catalogue, including ‘All Your'n’, ‘Way of the Triune God’ and ‘Angel Band’.
