Thomas Rhett has become renowned for his ability to pen an infectious, radio-worthy hit, and the Georgia crooner reminded CMA Fest 2024 attendees of this with a couple of incredible live performances of his brand new single, ‘Gone Country’.

The uptempo, beat-driven track dropped the day after his CMA Fest sets at the Nissan Stadium and Spotify House on Friday, June 7th, with ’Gone Country’ due to feature on Rhett's forthcoming studio album, About A Woman, alongside ‘Beautiful As You’.

Although Thomas Rhett's blockbuster Nissan Stadium performance undoubtedly carried an extra sense of occasion, his comparatively intimate set at Spotify House allowed fans to see the newly unveiled song in a new, more stripped-back light.

At Spotify House, which was once again being hosted at Blake Shelton's Ole Red bar on Broadway, Thomas Rhett grinned endearingly as he scanned the room and saw the smiling faces that greeted his decision to add ‘Gone Country’ into his setlist.

Elsewhere during his outstanding performance, which spanned Thomas Rhett's stellar discography, ticket-holders were able to witness high-energy renditions of fan-favourites such as ‘Look What God Gave Her’, ‘Life Changes’ and ‘Die a Happy Man’. The set was imbued with the warmth and tenderness Rhett always brings to his performances, consolidating his status as one of modern country's biggest draws.

Jelly Roll and Ashley McBryde have been unveiled as the hosts for the CMA Fest TV Special, which will air on Tuesday, June 25 at 8/7c on ABC, and will stream on Hulu the next day. For more information on how to watch the CMA Fest TV Special, head here.
