Post Malone Covers George Strait and Vince Gill at Spotify House During Spellbinding CMA Fest 2024 Set

Post Malone delivered a series of spellbinding duets as part of his surprise Spotify House performance at Blake Shelton's much-loved Nashville bar, Ole Red, during CMA Fest 2024.

As well as performing his eagerly awaited collaboration with Blake, ‘Somebody Pour Me A Drink’, Post Malone treated the packed-out crowd to enchanting renditions of George Strait's iconic hit, ’Carrying Your Love With Me’, as well as Vince Gill's beloved track, ‘One More Last Chance’, to close out the opening day of CMA Fest.

‘Carrying Your Love With Me’ remains one of George Strait's most celebrated hits, with Post Malone serving up a fitting tribute to the ‘King’ of country at Spotify House.

Posty moved to Texas when he was still a child, making this enchanting homage to one of the most revered figures from the Lone Star state all the more significant and moving.

Similarly, although Vince Gill does not hail from Texas, he's nonetheless one of the most respected artists in country music, and Post Malone's decision to cover his ‘90s anthem, ‘One More Last Chance’, consolidates Posty's appreciation for all sub-genres, ranging from traditional country to the more pop-leaning territory of his record-breaking Morgan Wallen collaboration, ‘I Had Some Help’.

Post Malone's appearance during CMA Fest 2024 once again highlights the depth of his foray into country music. The Diamond-certified maverick is currently readying his debut country record, which is expected to feature both ‘Somebody Pour Me A Drink’ with Blake Shelton and ‘I Had Some Help’ with Morgan Wallen, along with a blockbuster collaboration with Luke Combs (‘I Ain't Got A Guy For That’).
