When Post Malone announced his 2025 Big Ass World Tour with Jelly Roll back in February, members of the UK's loyal country music community lost their minds. But as F-1 Trillion fever subsided, fans focussed in on one small detail - the tiny blue star next to ‘September 7th, London, United Kingdom’ that denoted: NO JELLY ROLL.
No Jelly Roll? No Jelly Roll?! Post Malone giveth and Post Malone taketh away. But with general admission tickets selling out on the day of release, UK fans kept their faith in the ‘I Had Some Help’ singer.
However, it seems all is not lost. UK fans woke up this morning (Wednesday, April 9th) to Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie XO, confirming on TikTok that they would be joining Post Malone’s tour in the UK.
“See you in August London!” she captioned her video, showing a FaceTime from Jelly Roll outside Buckingham Palace. Obviously, the internet sleuths jumped on this quicker than Luke Combs can shotgun a beer, with one fan commenting, “I thought Jelly couldn’t enter the UK…I demand a UK tour right now, thank you please Mr Sir Jelly Roll.”
Bringing any speculation to a halt, Bunnie XO replied with, “We’ll see y’all on the Posty tour in the UK baby”. Jelly Roll is currently in the UK, with the ‘Need a Favor’ hitmaker delivering a powerful speech and receiving the Goodwill Literacy Ambassador Award at the World Literacy Summit. The prestigious event took place yesterday (Tuesday, April 8th) at the University of Oxford, with this surprise visit seemingly marking the first time the Nashville native has stepped foot in the UK.
It appears Jelly Roll might have been laying the foundation for his August show. Of course, until now, Jelly's ability to travel has been hindered by his past felony convictions. But as he demonstrated while being honoured at the World Literacy Summit in Oxford, Jelly has emerged a beacon of positivity and continues to shine a light on challenges relating to the US fentanyl crisis, youth incarceration and much more.
There hasn't been any confirmation from Jelly Roll or Post Malone themselves, and that little blue star still sits firmly beside London on the poster. But we at least know that Jelly Roll can enter the UK and Bunnie XO is pretty confident he’ll be on that leg of the tour. Here's hoping!
