Riley Green has been dubbed ‘Country’s Hottest Cowboy’ by People magazine in their ‘Sexiest Man Alive 2026’ issue. During his People interview, country music’s most famous heartthrob shared some insights into what his sisters taught him about dating.
Green’s sisters, Lindy Currier, aged 47, and Casey Green Maples, aged 40, formed a big part of Green’s younger years - Maples was the reason he got up on stage to play music in the first place. And it seems they’ve continued to offer their older sisterly advice, even as adults.
During their interview, Alex Ross asked Green what his older sisters have taught him about dating.
“To know that I’m not right about everything,” he shared, “and that there are some things not worth arguing about. I didn’t win a lot of arguments.”
Having advice on dating is all well and good, but living a life on the road takes its toll. It doesn’t matter how many arguments you let slide and how many times you take the loss, being away from home for 200 days a year is not for the fainthearted. Although frequently referenced as Nashville’s most eligible bachelor, the ‘My Way’ singer has said that he’s open to love.
Green’s love life has been the subject of constant speculation, with rumours linking him to fellow artists. Yes, we’re talking about Megan Moroney and Ella Langley. They’ve all stayed pretty quiet on it, but we’d love to know what his sisters would say.
Hey, at least we got some great songs out of it all.
