In tandem with his colossal 2024 tour unveiling, Morgan Wallen has confirmed fans’ suspicions that he's been readying a new song with Thomas Rhett, ‘Mamaw's House’.
Morgan revealed the previously teased collaboration, which Thomas Rhett hinted at in a nostalgic Instagram post yesterday (Monday, September 25), will be released on Friday, September 29.
Fans have been clamouring for Thomas Rhett and Morgan Wallen to release the heartfelt ode to their grandmothers ever since Rhett performed a snippet across his socials in 2020.
It's a beautifully stripped-back, introspective tribute to the slower pace of life and lessons learned when inside each of the artists’ respective ‘Mamaw's House’.
Given the star power of both Thomas Rhett and Morgan Wallen, many are already tipping the duet to storm up the charts and reach the top spot in the next couple of weeks.
‘Mamaw's House’ isn't the first time the two artists have teamed up, with Thomas Rhett co-writing Morgan Wallen's much-loved track, ‘Whiskey'd My Way’, which appeared on 2021's Dangerous.
According to Morgan Wallen's announcement, ‘Mamaw's House’ will be released as part of Thomas Rhett's hotly anticipated 20 Number Ones CD and Vinyl box-set.
In addition to 20 of the ‘Half Of Me’ hitmaker's chart-toppers and ‘Mamaw's House’, the upcoming project will feature his most recent No. 1, ‘Angels (Don't Always Have Wings)’, as a bonus track.
