During the illustrious 2023 CMA Awards, Megan Moroney and Old Dominion teamed up for a stellar rendition of their much-loved duet, ‘Can't Break Up Now’, one of the many highlights from the Tennessee band's newly released album, Memory Lane.

Although Old Dominion often opt for more summery, breezy anthems where they shrug off their heartbreak with a little tequila and lime, ‘Can't Break Up Now’ serves as a sultry, passionate plea for the couple to give the relationship one last attempt at salvation.

Although still an up-and-coming artist, with Megan Moroney being included 2023 CMA New Artist of the Year category, the country prodigy carried the comfortable stage presence and confidence of an artist who's been in the spotlight for a decade.

The Georgia native's enchantingly conversational singing style combined seamlessly with Matt Ramsey's charismatic vocals throughout their live performance, with the song's two protagonists engendering a tangible, captivating sense of chemistry.

Old Dominion entered the Nashville ceremony hoping to win their sixth - yes, sixth - straight CMA Group of the Year title, with the hugely popular band dominating the genre over the past few years, while Megan vied for her first ever CMA award for New Artist of the Year.

As many expected, Old Dominion triumphed once again, making it six in a row, with their stellar performance underlining why they'd managed to hold onto the trophy for so long.

Elsewhere during the evening, viewers were able to enjoy thrilling performances from the Morgan Wallen, Post Malone, HARDY, Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Carly Pearce, Kelsea Ballerini, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band, Mac McAnally and more.
