Luke Combs has picked up an array of new RIAA certifications for songs from across his discography.
Combs recently made history with his 15th consecutive No. 1 single, ‘Going, Going, Gone’, and it seems his momentum is picking up the pace heading into the rollout of his new album, Gettin’ Old.
Among the tracks to receive new certifications is Combs’ iconic love ballad, ‘Beautiful Crazy’, which has gone nine times Platinum.
This means ‘Beautiful Crazy’ is now only one million sales away from becoming Combs’ first Diamond single.
The tempestuous, angsty ‘Hurricane’ is now eight times Platinum, as is ‘When It Rains It Pours’. The impressive array of new RIAA certifications is a testament to Combs’ songwriting prowess, which has also led to him earning credits on a number of other artists’ hits as well as his own.
‘Tomorrow Me’, one of the songs from Combs’ last project, Growin’ Up, has gone Gold, as has ‘I Got Away With You’, ‘Nothing Like You’, ‘Out There’, ‘A Long Way’, ‘Reasons’ and ‘All Over Again’.
Joining them with new Gold certifications is ‘Be Careful What You Wish For’, ‘Beer Can’, ‘What You See Is What You Get’, ‘Blue Collar Boys’, ‘Memories Are Made Of’, ‘Don't Tempt Me’, ‘Without You’, ‘Lonely One’ and one of Combs’ earliest singles, ‘Used To You’.
‘Better Together’, the endearing album-closer for Combs’ 2019 project, What You See Is What You Get, has gone four times Platinum, as has ‘One Number Away’ and ‘Forever After All’.
‘Lovin’ On You’, ‘Must've Never Met You’ and the Eric Church-assisted ‘Does To Me’ have all been certified twice Platinum, in recognition of them moving the equivalent of two million units. In addition, the wistful ‘Refrigerator Door’ picks up its first Platinum plaque.
