The Academy of Country Music yesterday announced the hosts for the 56th Awards ceremony.
New Female Artist of the Year nominee Mickey Guyton will host the show with 15-time ACM Award winner Keith Urban.
The show takes place on Sunday April 18th and shall be broadcast from three iconic locations around Music City; The Bluebird Cafe, the Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry will all host performances from the biggest stars of the genre.
Last year was the first time the awards used this format due to the pandemic but it proved popular with country music fans.
Keith Urban is nominated twice in the Musical Event of the Year category for his collaborations with P!nk on ‘One Too Many’ and the song ‘Be A Light’ in which he featured alongside Thomas Rhett, Reba McEntire, Hillary Scott and Chris Tomlin.
Meanwhile Mickey Guyton is nominated for New Female Artist of the Year, she also looks to take home her first Grammy award at this Sunday’s ceremony.
Urban said “I’m beyond thrilled to be co-hosting with my friend Mickey. I love that finally everyone will get to see her infectious energy and uber creative spirit in full light.”
