Kane Brown will soon be navigating new terrain, the 'Miles On It' hitmaker preparing to take fans on The High Road.

The country star recently announced the follow-up to his 2022 effort, Different Man. Set for release on January 24, 2025 via Sony Music Entertainment, the new album will feature previously released tracks like 'Fiddle in the Band', 'I Can Feel It', and the hit Marshmello collaboration, 'Miles On It'.

The High Road will feature 18 songs in total, with the collection's 'Backseat Driver' set to be released this Friday (Oct. 11).

In late September, Brown began teasing the sweetly personal tune on social media, one that appears to be an endearing ode to fatherhood and a darling ballad to his children.

In a snippet posted to Instagram, the artist can be heard vocalizing the emotive offering against a building arrangement and over a flash of family footage, singing, "My whole world wasn't over that dash / It was back there buckled in / Saying 'Daddy look there's a plane in the sky' / 'Are we there yet?' / 'Did you just see that dog run by?' / 'Do squirrels have houses in the trees?' / 'Why would God put a stinger on a honeybee?' / It's crazy all the things she sees on the side of the road / Out of that window beside her / I wish I could be more like her / My little danglin' feet, pretty in pink backseat driver."

As a new year nears and the promise of fresh music looms, Brown's name has already begun to grace 2025 festival line-ups. The artist was recently announced as a bill-topper for outings like Buckeye Country Superfest and Windy City Smokeout, where he will likely share his brand new offerings from The High Road.
